About

Reaching out for support can feel like a big step

Especially when life feels hard, relationships feel distant, or you have been trying to cope on your own for a long time. Wherever you are right now, you do not have to work it out alone.

Kim Young, ACA Registered Counsellor and principal of Change Counselling, Geelong

Hi, I'm Kim Young

I'm glad you've found your way here. I offer a warm, supportive space for individuals and couples who are looking for greater clarity, steadiness, and connection in their lives and relationships.

My role is to help you slow things down and make sense of what's going on. Together, we can explore what's been feeling difficult, understand the patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and find practical, meaningful ways forward that feel right for you.

My approach

Calm, supportive, and collaborative

We'll work together at a pace that feels comfortable for you, focusing on what matters most, whether that's feeling more grounded in yourself, communicating more openly, or rebuilding a sense of connection and hope.

  • A non-judgemental space where you can speak openly
  • Clear goals so sessions feel purposeful
  • Tools and strategies you can use between sessions
  • Steady progress at a pace that feels right for you
